Ruben Dias

Ruben Dias is a serial entrepreneur who started his first company when he was twenty-one. He is the owner of FASTRACK, an early-stage investment venture capital firm.  In the last thirty years, Ruben has been creating start-ups and ventures from scratch that have become targets for acquisition. He resides in Whistler, BC with his family. Ruben is currently serving as the ASI VP for communications.   Ruben and his wife, Nancy, are parents to two children who have also started their own companies in their teens. The Dias family has a deep passion for sharing the three angels’ messages of Christ´s love with others around the world.

Alissa Mundall

Alissa Mundall is an alumnus of Fountainview Academy, graduating in 2007. After completing courses in office administration, she enjoyed 8 years serving at Fountainview Academy as the Registrar/Administration Manager. Most recently she has spent time volunteering in Asia and is now working in administration and finance at Com Com Services in Lytton, BC.
Fountainview Academy still holds a special place in her heart, and she continues to be passionate about helping young people grow in their walk and commitment to Christ.

Jonathan Fish

Dr. Fish received his BA in History from Walla Walla College, after spending time in Korea teaching English, he went back to school and earned his MD at Loma Linda University School of Medicine.  Jonathan did his residency in Family Medicine at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL.
He has practiced outpatient medicine, been HR director of a medium-sized clinic, co-director of cardiac stress testing lab, nursing home medical director, Peer Review chairman for many years, and has enjoyed practicing lifestyle medicine according to how God would have us live and take care of our body; so much more powerful than allopathic medicine alone.  Jonathan is presently working as a hospitalist in Ellensburg, WA.

Curtis Letniak

Curtis Letniak and his wife Julie live near Ponoka, Alberta. Curtis is owner of Spyder Controls Corp – a Canadian electronics design and manufacturing firm that serves a variety of marine, vehicle and equipment manufacturers. He is passionate about developing creativity and innovation in ministry and missions to hasten Christ’s soon return.

Dallas Mowat

Dallas Mowat is a retired Civil Engineer. He started working as a project engineer with the Airforce after graduating from Royal Military College in 1965. His assignments were to various projects in extreme northern Canada and Germany. Dallas left the military to do graduate studies at U of C where he completed his MSc in Engineering. He then was employed in management positions with a concrete and aggregate company in Winnipeg and northern Manitoba. In 1973, he accepted a challenging position of managing a division for a consulting company in Vancouver, and then ultimately invested in manufacturing companies and managing them. With 5 children, he became involved with youth groups and teaching youth at the church. He enjoyed guiding many wilderness camp experiences for youth through Camp Hope, and often led Sabbath hikes for youth from the church. He enjoyed teaching youth in a wilderness setting. With a background in construction projects he was involved as chair person or engineer, at a number of church and school projects, with the most recent commercial construction project at Church in Valley. He values and supports Christian Education. He encourages youth to pursue studies that will lead to careers in areas of their interest as well as providing income to help others. Learning through work experience while attending school, is a model of education that he strongly supports.

Dana Schafer

Dana Schafer was born and raised in Winnipeg. She taught in Adventist schools until she and her husband, Rick, started their family. Dana homeschooled their three children until they each enrolled at Fountainview Academy as sophomores. Currently, Dana is the Administrative Assistant at the North Cascade Seventh-day Adventist Church in Burlington, WA. She is passionate about serving God, her church, and her community and inspiring others to do the same.

Dan Scuka

Dan lives in Kelowna, BC, with his wife Halina, and is the president of Scuka Enterprises Ltd., a construction company specializing in multi-family and commercial construction.  He attended Walla Walla University and graduated with a degree in electronics and in his spare time obtained his private pilot’s license. He has three daughters who all attended Fountainview Academy, and he continues to support the school in various ways.

Dan enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and skiing with his daughters. He is passionate about serving others and using his talents to create ways for others to do the same.

Alonna Smith

Alonna is from Chilliwack, British Columbia where she works with her family, as an executive assistant, in the natural and organic food industry. Her early years were spent at Fountainview with her family where she also graduated from the Academy. She is thankful for the experience and training she received and is dedicated to seeing other young people also have the opportunity to be impacted through the training program Fountainview offers.

Stan Smith

Stan is from Chilliwack, British Columbia Canada where he works in the natural and organic food industry as CEO of several small companies. Stan and his wife Kathy and their two daughters, Alonna and Sondra, came to Fountainview Academy in 1991 with Kathy’s parents, Odt and Rosa Jacobson. Odt was committed to education that combined work and study with the objective of developing character and skills that would contribute to the life success of students pursuing any career choice. Stan assisted Odt in developing and executing a strategy for the development of the campus, the leadership team, and the overall program. He continues to be involved in the school with a focus on finances and leadership training.
