Curtis Letniak

Curtis Letniak and his wife Julie live near Ponoka, Alberta. Curtis is owner of Spyder Controls Corp – a Canadian electronics design and manufacturing firm that serves a variety of marine, vehicle and equipment manufacturers. He is passionate about developing creativity and innovation in ministry and missions to hasten Christ’s soon return.

Doug Erickson

Doug Erickson and his wife Terri reside near Columbia, Missouri, USA where God has blessed them with two children. Their eldest is a graduate of Fountainview Academy, and their son is currently enrolled in the program. The Erickson‘s homeschooled their children until their acceptance at Fountainview. Doug supports the model of practical education and is grateful for the spiritual leadership Fountainview Academy models.

In his professional life, Doug works as a technical sales consultant for a Texas-based lubricant company, where he effectively manages a multi state territory across the Midwest of the United States. Doug enjoys traveling with his family and cooking for them.

James Hartley

After being raised Roman Catholic, James was introduced to Seventh-day Adventists through a vegetarian restaurant in Europe and an organic family farm in Italy. Since his conversion, James has served in various leadership roles within supporting ministries, including co-founder and president of LIGHT ministry and Executive Vice President of Outpost Centers International (OCI). He currently serves as General Vice President of ASI and Vice President for Streams of Light International. James and his wife, Dani, are actively engaged in ministry together with their two daughters, Layla and Lauren.  

Katherine Kunyk

Katherine and her husband, Jamie, reside in the North Okanagan. Katherine is an educator who contracts for an online Christian school. She is passionate about God's plan for education, desiring to equip young people to help fulfill His work and hasten His soon return.

Adam Ramdin

Adam Ramdin was born and raised in England and currently serves as the Executive Producer of Lineage Journey, a media ministry that creates resources educating people on their spiritual identity. Previously he has served the church in a variety of capacities and it was during his time as a Youth & Young Adult Director that he really enjoyed seeing youth make life changing decisions for Jesus. He is passionate about working with young people and seeing them effectively educated in their faith and equipped for lifelong ministry.

Dana Schafer

Dana Schafer was born and raised in Winnipeg. She taught in Adventist schools until she and her husband, Rick, started their family. Dana homeschooled their three children until they each enrolled at Fountainview Academy as sophomores. Currently, Dana is the Administrative Assistant at the North Cascade Seventh-day Adventist Church in Burlington, WA. She is passionate about serving God, her church, and her community and inspiring others to do the same.

Dan Scuka

Dan lives in Kelowna, BC, with his wife Halina, and is the president of Scuka Enterprises Ltd., a construction company specializing in multi-family and commercial construction.  He attended Walla Walla University and graduated with a degree in electronics and in his spare time obtained his private pilot’s license. He has three daughters who all attended Fountainview Academy, and he continues to support the school in various ways.

Dan enjoys traveling, scuba diving, and skiing with his daughters. He is passionate about serving others and using his talents to create ways for others to do the same.

Alonna Smith

Alonna is from Chilliwack, British Columbia where she works with her family, as an executive assistant, in the natural and organic food industry. Her early years were spent at Fountainview with her family where she also graduated from the Academy. She is thankful for the experience and training she received and is dedicated to seeing other young people also have the opportunity to be impacted through the training program Fountainview offers.

Stan Smith

Stan is from Chilliwack, British Columbia Canada where he works in the natural and organic food industry as CEO of several small companies. Stan and his wife Kathy and their two daughters, Alonna and Sondra, came to Fountainview Academy in 1991 with Kathy’s parents, Odt and Rosa Jacobson. Odt was committed to education that combined work and study with the objective of developing character and skills that would contribute to the life success of students pursuing any career choice. Stan assisted Odt in developing and executing a strategy for the development of the campus, the leadership team, and the overall program. He continues to be involved in the school with a focus on finances and leadership training.

Vicki Taylor

Vicki and her husband, Andrew, live near Sacramento, California. Vicki works in donor relations/development at Amazing Facts International—a ministry her family has been blessed to be a part of for the past 27 years. She and her husband also own and manage several residential rental properties. Vicki became an Adventist as a young adult and realizes the importance of reaching young people with the life-changing Gospel. When their four children came along she was a full-time homemaker and homeschooled them through high school with their youngest graduating from Fountainview. Vicki is active in her local church where she oversees IT and AV, serves as head deaconess, and coordinates fellowship meals and community outreach events. She enjoys gardening, hiking, snorkeling, mountain biking, playing the flute and banjo, tinkering with electronics, auto repair, and fixing things in general. But above all, her greatest joy is spending time with her children and six grandchildren and seeing the Lord work in the next generation.
