The sign-up sheets were up. Students hurriedly gathered around the notice board with pencils, pens, markers and anything else that they could write with. The sign-up sheet for Practical Night already had dozens of signatures scribbled onto it. “So many options,” I thought while looking at the list. After considering the different choices for a while, I put down my three top options.
It was a few days later when I noticed students crowding around the school’s notice board. Curiosity got the better of me as I drew closer to see what all the commotion was about. The “Practical Night” lists were up. In excitement I inched in closer and ran my finger down the list of assigned events. Vegan cookies and ice cream, sweet!
