Today, we had our last concert of our California Tour. We awoke this morning to a winter wonderland in Mt. Shasta, CA. Six inches of fresh snow with more falling initiated a sense of uneasiness within group. While the snow might be a beautiful sight to behold around Christmas time, it is definitely not good weather for travelling. With prayerful hearts, we journeyed north into the white world around us. After putting chains on the buses for going over the high point of the I-5 at Siskiyou Summit, we made it over the top and down into Oregon where there, thankfully, wasn’t much snow. It was just a matter of time before we pulled into the church in Vancouver in southern Washington state. Following sound check and supper, we filed into the sanctuary for what would be our last Christmas concert of the year. God blessed considerably throughout the concert, and we ended the program on the note of one our favorite songs: “Angels From the Realms of Glory.”
