Well, here starts another school year in traditional Fountainview fashion. Instead of digging right into classes at the beginning of the year, why not start with a fun, uplifting, and friendship building weekend? After registration was completed on Thursday, the whole school left early Friday morning to go to Seton Lake for an awesome weekend in God’s beautiful creation. From swimming to skiing, from playing to praying, the weekend had many activities which drew us all closer together. Morning and evening, devotional thoughts on the beach developed our relationship with God, while the rope swing and hot tubs proved popular places for developing relationships with our fellow classmates. Friday and Sunday were packed full of water sports such as skiing, wake boarding, and tubing, and on Sabbath, we had a relaxing day of church and various¬†activities. God provided wonderful weather for the weekend and a cheerful start to the school year! Now that we are off to our classes, school doesn’t seem so bad when you’re in the company of friends.
