This past Christmas season, the Fountainview Academy Orchestra & Singers had yet another opportunity to spread the gospel through music. We traveled south into the United States where we performed over 20 concerts at locations all the way down the west coast, from Mt. Vernon, Washington to Fallbrook, California. As most of our time was spent in the state of California, our tour has been named the California Tour, or “Cali” tour for short. From the heavy snow in Mt. Shasta to the dry warmth of Palm Desert, we experienced a wide variety of weather types over the course of the trip. By the time we reached the end of our journey in Vancouver, Washington, with over 60 hours of driving time under our belts and countless memories to cherish, we were all grateful for the chance to have a break for the holidays. What a blessing it was to share the story of our Savior during the Christmas season! Even though Christmas is now past us, let us never forget the ultimate gift of Jesus Christ, who, taking on human flesh and being born in a manger, died so that you and I might live!
